Came back for lunch.
The wait staff has changed to a different set of PRC. First time I saw any of them gave a black face, and such a poor attitude.
If you are wait staff, the minimum you can do is to smile. What we got was a glare.
The utensils were uncleaned with food stain attached at the shared utensils container.
When informed and shown, she just took it away and glared at us without an apology?!
Since when this outlet degenerated to such an extent?

My first time having a meal at Kei Kaisendon. Here at AMK hub outlet, we ordered the Unagi Don and Salmon Belly Don. The fish and eel were good, eggs and pickels were good but the rice was a bit wet. Overall taste was fine. Not the best Japanese meal eaten. The Green tea could be better if is refillable. A small cup $1.90 is not cheap. Overall the meal was expensive as the quantity rather small.

Had a simple dinner alone…a can go to place to have food in the tummy…not great but filling. Service was great and with fantastic smiles on the ground staff.

Food was good. Ordered premium set and not bad honestly. Staff was nice too. Fast service and all. Thanks

B1 of AMK Hub.
I got a shopback voucher for the 2 mains ordered. Even comes with a drink and the skewer.
Food was average at best. Nothing fantastic. But prices slightly above average.
Staffs however are very friendly and approachable.

Good service by the staff, food was fresh and delicious. Order of 1 main comes with soup and salad for free. Interesting the restaurant plays Chinese pop songs rather than Japanese songs but didn’t affect me. Made better by the grab dine-out discount on Tuesdays!

I went about 1.30pm today, greeted pleasantly by staff. I happily had my full meal there and was leaving the shop when i tripped over the platform step and sprained my ankle. The staff saw my anxiety and pained face and kindly led me to sit down and gave me sugared water and tissue to calm me down. Though my ankle still hurt, my heart is touched and glad. Thank you Kei Kaisendon staff!

1st time service and wow, impress with the whole team. The friendly lady staff that is always smiling, recommending the set meals for two persons! We ordered the Kei Premium set and food came very promptly, generous portion, soup was filled with ingredients and hot too! We totally love the service and the food! Keep up the good work!

Came with mum for lunch. Chose the last set and we were so full! Portion is good size but we aren’t big eaters so is having a hard time finishing.
Presentation is great. Service is awesome too! Only thing is I find the food a tad salty overall. Otherwise all is great!

Food presentation was very good, it showed that the chef took effort to prepare. Food was good, rice was a bit wet but acceptable. We got our tea refilled, so that’s a + point.

2023 1230 comparing I had it at outlet Paya Lebar Square and here, I find Paya Lebar outlet tastes better. I really like the Tamago Mentai. So flavourful. The wasabi served at all the outlet is smooth and not so strong like those added with chemical. Overall I had a nice lunch.

We had an enjoyable dinner here. Be prepared to queue during peak hours as the restaurant is quite small and there’s not many seats. They don’t accept reservations. We went for the Burpple set menu which is a good deal.
It came with a rice bowl of our choice, salad miso soup, skewers and green tea. The chirashi rice bowl was filling and there was enough ingredients to go with the rice.

Surprised to see this outlet at Ang Mo Kio Hub.
Had tried the food a few weeks ago at another outlet.
Service was alright. The food was fresh. Price wise, about the same compared to other outlets. There was complimentary soup and salad.
Though the space was limited, some how, the arrangement of the seatings were done quite efficiently. Spacious yet there were many seats.

Newly opened in @amk_hub is another branch of @keikaisendon.sg!
It’s my first time having it. And I was pleasantly surprised by it. The fish was so nicely seasoned that I barely touched the soy sauce provided along with it. The seaweed was also nice and crunchy, not lao hong and floppy like some other places. And the rice!! A pet peeve of mine was that chirashi bowls often overlook the rice, often serving cold and lumpy rice. But I’m happy that Kei Kaisendon is not like this. The rice was still warm and separates easily, despite the fact that I was there at 9pm, just before closing time.
There is also an ongoing promotion where you get a free salad (or onsen egg) and a soup with every main ordered! Not sure why I didn’t get mine, but I was still full and satisfied! It was a good meal nonetheless!

Very good japanese food at regular mall restaurant prices. Expect to spend $20-30 (year 2022 August) but very tasty high quality dishes. The soup was veey goid too. Highly recommend. Oh... And it's Halal too!
