I am very disappointed the service at this outlets. I am my 6yo kids for dinner today. We order the kid's meal with chicken, but the chicken is come with black peppers. I just friendly to tell the front task ladies with black shirts. She very rude and ask they didn't cook with black peppers this is come with xx?? Halo! Your company is serve the kid's meal for below 7 year old! How many kids can acceptable the black peppers taste?!

The food is good, generous portion and fresh. The downside is the staff. There was a long queue outside during lunch on Saturday and I noticed there were so many empty tables. No staff came to check on the queue. My husband took the initiative and ask the queue and usher to their table. Dear staff - I understand you have a better place to be or the job is beneath you or that you are waiting for a job offer elsewhere. Looking down all the time to prevent looking at the queue = less customers = less work? Do remember if the business shuts down, you won’t have a job!

Special mention to that one rude auntie behind the counter] Horrible waiting time because we waited for 45mins for our food, despite having no lunch crowd when we initially arrived. There were minimal explanation given and no updates on when we will be receiving our lunch. We ordered via the QR code, made payment and received our e-receipt, but the food didnt arrive after 30mins. We asked a waiter and other staff on the updates but received vague replies like "the place is experiencing high volume" and "it hasn't appeared in the system". One of the most triggering thing is we saw how people who came in later than us received their food first but we were left with a completely empty table. One particular auntie behind the counter (short hair and black uniform) rudely told me not to come to the counter and ask them. She said they are preparing the food and said something like our food did not show up in their screens (her tone was overall just bad) If I don't ask her, I ask who? Asked the waiter, waiter told me to ask counter. Asked the counter, auntie say don't come to counter. After 45mins, the assistant manager (Angela) came in to save the day, prepared the food almost instantly for us to takeaway and apologised to us profusely. Y'all should appreciate and thank for Angela for holding the fort, otherwise we would've been pissed PISSED about the bad service and attitude we received. The least the other staff could do was to help us check whether our order was received when we asked, but it wasn't done and it seems like they are just shirking responsibility by displaying the 'idk' vibe and redirecting us to other staff instead.

Great products, shame about the service and dining experience. If there isn’t even a standard greeting, how do you expect staff to be treated with basic respect? I didn’t even feel compelled to say thank you.

Really don’t respect the customers, am I the one who spent money or you? I want to file a complaint about the staff at Ang Mo Kio Pepper Lunch. Their behavior is extremely impolite—they rush around rudely in front of customers and have a terrible attitude. Moreover, the portion of meat in the dishes has been getting smaller and smaller. There’s barely any difference between the student-priced portions and the regular ones; only has a tiny bit more, which makes customers feel like they’re being ripped off. I come here to eat, not to be greeted with a bad attitude. What’s more, the staff even pointed fingers at me when I was trying to find a seat—who do they think they are?

Reasonable lunch experience, not much issues. Had to wait awhile after ordering as i had to show Counter my QR code. Waited around 10 mins while she was serving another cust. Food wise it's ok. We enjoyed our respective dishes.

Average experience. The atmosphere of the café was casual and unassuming, with simple decor and a mix of table and booth seating. The food was decent. I ordered the sizzling beef and salmon which came out hot and sizzling on the pan, as expected. The beef was nicely presentable. However, the customer service was mediocre. The waitstaff were friendly enough, but not particularly attentive and extremely occupied with their other errands. They took a while to take my order. The prices were also on the average side. Portions were decent and there was a good variety of options on the menu. Overall, while the meals wasn't bad, it wasn't outstanding either. The food was decent but not particularly memorable, and the service and atmosphere were also just average. I'd recommend it for a quick and casual meal, but there are probably better options out there.

I like that there are multiple customization options to make your meal a healthier choice - added broccoli and cabbage, removed butter. However, it tasted rather bland even after adding the sauces available (sauce bottle was faulty and was difficult to pour much). But I guess you can opt for the curry addition if required. The salmon rice option was $12.90, which is affordable for a casual dining place. No strong feelings about dining here, wouldn’t mind if my colleagues want to eat it again.
