Lashes are not curled evenly, only one side curled. don’t think their beauticians know how to do a basic lash lift, no checking before moving forward to each step. no wonder only half curled, still can ask me if it looks nice? def won’t come back again, not even for $5. paid $28 for one side of lashes to be curled only but only pro is at least they didn’t burn my lashes, which is bare minimum….

Communicated with the customer service named Bell through WhatsApp. Tried to book an appointment with her multiple times but there was no responses. When she finally responded, we booked an appointment but upon arrival at the store at the designated time, the lady at the counter said there was no appointment booked. The lady at the counter took pictures of my conversation with Bell and booked an appointment for me for the next day as it was fully booked for the day. She asked me to text Bell to inform her so that she can confirmed the booking through her system. I followed the instruction however there was no response from Bell again. Inefficient booking system and customer service.

1. no receptionist. nobody at the desk. and by nobody, i mean i’ve to go inside the shop and call people and everybody’s confused and still nobody come out. seems like there is no dedicated admin personnel. 2. i asked when i can do eyebrow threading for walk in. nobody knows. they say oh we are from different department so we can’t access the records. HUH. i have never walked into a shop where nobody can tell me when is the next available slot and everyone’s confused. 3. i asked for eyebrow threading and one of the staff asked me to go in and lie down. i said many times its eyebrow threading and only when i lied down, she told me she DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO EYEBROW THREADING AND CAN ONLY USE THE BLADE. if not for the fact that i took initiative to speak in my broken chinese to keep clarifying with her, she would have gone ahead. if you don’t understand english, SAY U DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. don’t pretend u understand and almost provide a wrong service. if i want to use the eyebrow blade i must as well do at home right. then she said SHE IS NOT FROM THE EYEBROW DEPARTMENT. HUH. then why you want to take me as a customer in the first place? 4. in any case i message the salon via IG and they said their working hours for the IG staff is 9-6pm but it’s now past 11am and it shows “active yesterday”. so now it’s very ridiculous right. because you can’t message them to ask questions, u can’t even walk into the shop and ask CAUSE NOBODY KNOWS!

I have been following La Vida social media for quite sometime and had decided to try out their eyelash lifting and eyebrow services. Done my eyelash lifting today and it was a totally nightmare. My lashes was overdone/curled back into eyelid, messy and frizzy that was done by Suki Jiang Ya. During the eyelash lifting process, she recommended me to get the eyelash tint at a special xmas promotion price, which I have rejected. I’m very glad that I didn’t do the eyelash tint after I saw the damages on my lashes. When I was about to make the payment, she offered me a 1-1 eyelash lift at around $78++ for student price. I had rejected her and told her that I was very dissatisfied with the eyelash lifting and the reasons behind it but she can’t seem to understand it or choose to be ignorance. I had shown her my previous eyelash lift with other beautician and doesn’t have this messy/frizzy effects! Glad that I didn’t sign up for the eyebrow services too after seeing the comments on it. For those who wants to try out their eyelash lifting, do think twice!

Bought fave voucher to try out. Did not get the lady who did my lashes…… experience was quite disappointing. - She was rough while doing my lashes. Lots of pressure on my eyelids, uncomfortable for me. - Brought me to the room and didn’t say a word, like where should I place my bag or tell me to lie down first. None. - Started the lash lift immediately and did not tell me what is she doing with my lashes, what is she applying, or “i’m going to start now, close ur eyes” She only said a 来~ and automatically I closed with my eyes…… She started with wiping my eyes clean but I did not like the fact that she did not said what she’s doing for the first 5 mins while she struggles to put the rubber thing in my lids(no tapes were used tho) Until I asked her then she tell me…… -OVERALLS LASHES ARE MESSY AS HECK. right lashes were in a mess, ALL IN DIFFERENT ANGLE, L shape, badly permed lashes all tgt…. (pls just look at pics) - Introduced me a 1+1 package of $78 but I it turned down. No hard selling just that u reject 2-3 times~~ - The room is closed with curtains not door so u can hear staff talking outside loudly. Room is quite cold too but they do give blankets ~~
