I’m writing to share my first experience at this branch. The skewers were delicious, but they were a bit pricey. The service for service the food was really fast, though, which was great. There was a long Queue for the table so it was a bit of a wait.

quite busy. food was okay, the cumin was very strong, they didnt specify what they meant by "spicy" at the checkout so when we got the "spicy" option everything was very spicy. food took quite sometime to come. don't see much point in the bbq box except to hold the skewers and veg and warm them up slightly, even then, the heat was very uneveb on the plate.

A bit hot here. The skewers are quite ex 1.80 to 2.50 each. But it is tasty though.Ordered the Zha Jiang noodles looks like the bimbimbap type, prefer the noodles to be fine type but here they serve the udon type.Love the chicken cutlet with the spices next to it so up to us if need to add.The price looks ok but after the 10% service charge and 9% gst I doubt I will come back again.

Came here for a quick bite during lunch time. This shop is sitting on the same lot where Burger King's used to be. Prices on the menu seem affordable at first but is actually before service charge and GST. Decent variety of bbq skewers, I presume the evening crowd would usually pair that with alcohol. Enjoyed the fragrant Mala pork skewers, cumin beef had good smokey flavor but meat was a bit tough and squid was quite chewy. Grilled Intestines still had a lingering smell. Wished there was an extra spicy option for the bbq items. The spicy sour noodle had a good kick and it was really the smooth QQ noodles that stood out for me. The pitcher of lime drink was refreshing, quantity was probably good for 2pax only. I like that each table had their own heated plate to keep skewers warm.

First visit to this chain restaurant. Food are interesting. No one can say no to bbq food which are well prepared. Environment is a bit noisy but we not really here to chit chat. Total bill is less than $80 net for 4 pax. Will definitely come again. Their staff here are helpful. Think their pay not bad. lol

Had some good Chinese beef skewers which went amazingly well with the beer and noodles. Set us back by about 35 dollars each, but was it good? Absolutely fire.

Food and service here is really great - we were seated at an outdoor table and it was a bit rainy.
The staff were really attentive throughout, kept checking in to make sure we weren’t getting wet, and when it started pouring, we had to move the tables as the rain was too heavy. The staff replaced our ENTIRE ORDER bc some of the food got wet, even though we said there was no need bc we were already getting full!! But they insisted we dabao the replacement since our original order got a little wet. We found this so thoughful of them!!
Special mention of staff Mary, who was so friendly throughout!! Thank you team and we will happily come back again when it rains 😉😉

Directions: Go to the level where AMK Bus Interchange is. Walk towards Old Chang Kee. Exit to the left before Old Chang Kee.
My friend lives in AMK and suggests this place. We were there on a Monday evening, go before 7pm else you need to wait. We spent around $90 for 3. Will come back again.
Food is good, very delicious skewers. I recommend the grilled beef, mutton, potato, mushrooms. We also had the lala with vermicelli.

Taste was as good as other outlets and the service was fast and prompt. Perhaps one thing to note is I’m not too sure why the staffs keep coming to the tables and eager to clear the plates even while we are eating, as if they are chasing us out though they did emphasise that it’s okay we can take our time to dine.

Accessible at street level near taxi stand of AMK Hub.
The sour & spicy noodle 酸辣粉 has rich taste, but a bit too oily. The stewers are reasonably priced. We had about 20 sticks of meat, 3 sticks of fish, and a bowl of noodle which cost about $42 for two of us.

Is been awhile since I visited bbq box. Previously disappointed by other outlet but today at Amk hub outlet really Amaze me. Specially the Guizhou mutton skewer, grilled squid tentacles and chicken gizzard.

Shiok skewers. A bit greasy but I guess that's the norm for Chinese food. The place is pretty small but since we went for lunch we could get seats.
The price isn't cheap but overall ok. There was a beer promotion - buy two get one? Can try.

A Chinese BBQ skewers and drinking place. Good variety of BBQ skewers like mutton, beef, porks, sliced potatoes, romaine lettuce, mushrooms, prawns etc. Goes well with beers, wine, soft drinks. Lively and upbeat music in the restaurant helps lifting the eating mood. Good place for meals with friends and family members. Conveniently located at AMK Hub and train and bus station.

So glad this bbq box opened at Amk which is near to us.
Very good skewers paired with good beer.
Usual China beer are 4% or lesser which are light. This Laoshan beer is good as its 4.7%.
We all loved the skewers which were extremely yummy.
Great vibes and we had an enjoyable night.
Pretty much our Go To Bbq spot for next ChinaBbq Nite place. 🥰🥰
