I brought one of the prawn sushi and the prawn smelt bad and the taste was horrible. I think the sushi was spoilt as they put it out for long hours Updated. The outlet manager reached out to apologize and issued a refund. Case closed.

It was a nostaglic that started to eat their sushi when they newly opening at Tiong Bahru Plaza. The very first bento to order was beef set. That time still remember didn't like their long green seaweed slices. Luckily this outlet didn't serve it. Or they had ceased it to offer. Been to other outlets at Nex & Woodleigh mall including AMK hub before the renovation 😋

Bought the All Salmon Sushi Set yesterday at 6.36pm. I ate it after reaching back. And some of the salmon tasted off. And left a really fishy taste in my mouth. That means that some of the salmon had gone bad. Luckily i didn't get any food poisoning. The colour also seemed off. And the food was expensive too. So i just wasted my money on spoiled fish.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I visited Umi Sushi @ AMK Hub for lunch around 1pm today, and I was quite disappointed. When I went to collect my food, I wasn’t sure if the correct order was being served. My buzzer number was 8, and I politely asked a Chinese auntie staff member if the dish was indeed my order – Oyako Don (No. 05 on the menu). She responded loudly and rather impatiently, saying, “This is number 8.” I clarified again, asking if it was Oyako Don, and she confirmed – still in a loud and unfriendly tone. I then pointed out that Oyako Don usually comes with egg, but I couldn’t see any. She raised her voice further while explaining and pointing it out – her tone was harsh, and the entire restaurant could hear the exchange. At that point, I found the attitude completely unacceptable. (It totally pissed me off at this point of time) On top of the poor customer service, the food portion was also quite small. Even the cashier came across while placing the order also having abit of attitude. Overall: Bad customer service, small portion, and unpleasant experience. I won’t be returning.

Located in B2 of AMK Hub where Fairprice is, just beside the Dessert shop. Bought voucher from ShopBack. Service was ok and prompt, waiting time was okay. But food is subpar. Ordered curry chicken katsu and gyu don. Look at the gyu don rice that looks like mui fan or porridge. Totally wet from the sauce which is not to my preference. Note: I didn't mix the rice btw. I'm not sure if donburis are supposed to be this wet. Beef was average, not too chewy. Red ginger not sweet enough. Not sure if it's just an outlet problem, but I might reconsider getting mains from here next time. Sushi for quick fixes are still average and sufficient.

Bad experience dining at umisushi AMK. Ordered Oyako Don and Tonkotsu Raman, both food not up to standard. Even market or food center food are better than theirs. Won’t be visiting.

Visited the AMK hub branch on 5th March, 1:27pm bought the maki mix set that costs $8.20. Despite their sushi looking less appealing compared to other takeout sushi competitors around in the mall like Mr Sushi@ NTUC and Kuriya’s, I still decided to give them the benefit of doubt and went ahead with my purchase. Upon consuming, I was appalled by the sourness of the chuka maki. I then sniffed and taste tested the rest of the set and realised they have all gone bad too. Sadly, the only ones that were still edible were the mini cucumber, tamogo + crab stick ones. The sushi rice were tad disappointing too, lacking in the vinegary touch that usual sushi should have. Service wise was fine but food quality could have been better.

Bought their teriyaki chicken bento at shopee flash sale.. There is a cabbage salad, green seaweed and potato salad w teriyaki chicken and rice. After eating everything, i feel quite full. Overall value for money

had an amazing dining experience at UmiSushi at AMK Hub! The variety of sushi and Japanese dishes on the menu is fantastic, and everything was incredibly fresh. The sushi rolls were beautifully prepared, and the flavors were spot on. I especially loved their salmon sashimi The service was quick and friendly.. The atmosphere inside was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a casual meal or a quick bite during shopping. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served, and the portion sizes are just right. Will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!

I recently dined at umisushi located in AMK Hub and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, bentos, and donburi. I tried the teriyaki salmon bento . The ambiance was quiet and peaceful, making it a nice place for lunch. The Unagi Bento is my usual order, and I always add Tamago Yaki into my meal. Not sure about other places, but the AMK Hub outlet always has seats available whenever I was there. It’s a quiet and peaceful place for lunch because all the other eateries will be packed with people. Although the Unagi bento is a little tad expensive, I still have it most of the time I was there as it’s really good.

It was my first time eating there and I found the kitchen staff quite welcoming. They recommended the Japanese curry omelette during their promotion before and it was not only aesthetically pleasing but also delicious! Cannot wait to try other promotional dishes
