Wasn't expecting another wanton noodles store to replace an existing wanton noodles store. But it was what it was, where Pontian replaced Eng's. Standards are different, and this became more of a local fast food eatery. Food comes fast, but they also don't expect you to sit for long. Food quality is good enough if you're trying to fill your stomach, but not enough if you're trying to enjoy your bowl of wanton noodles.

Wonton Noodles is okay. Ordered non-spicy but came with spicy. The dumplings in the soup didn’t taste fresh. And look at the portion for the chicken cutlet…

Unfortunately this place is quite unhygienic. Cockroaches EVERYWHERE. Literally one dead cockroach under my table. One half kicking ON the table right next to me and another one crawling around hiding in cracks. The tables are also not wiped down and cleaned I used a wet wipe to clean my own table and it was so dirty. The charsiew was also cold (fridge cold) when I ate it and the staff weren't super friendly. I love this wonton mee and I'm so sad to see it in this sorry state. I approached the staff and the guy couldn't be bothered. He just said like yea ya ya I know I know ok la ok la (mumble)

Very rude cashier and very unhygienic. Staff was swiping the phone and used bare hands to pick up vegetables. Staff are more focused on their phones than serving the food.

The female staff at the outlet is super rude, please send her for customer service training. Did the customers step on her tail or something? The wanton noodle is not bad, soup is served hot.

Ordered 2 set As with both non spicy as my throat wasn't feeling well but they gave us 2 spicy wonton noodles. Since it was a subtle mistake we just told the people there that they gave us the wrong order. They happily accepted it and helped us change the order but all they did was soak the noodles in hot water to remove the chilli and put it back into the same bowl. I could still see the chilli sauce remains on the side of the bowl. The noodles were still spicy and had become soggier. Unpleased with the service. Pontian is my favourite place to buy wonton noodles and especially nostalgic for me as I used to eat there almost everyday in secondary school at another branch but the amk hub branch really disappointed me.

Portions are small for the price, their wanton noodles only taste slightly better than what u get in hawker centres. Honestly, just go Malaysia Boleh or the food court if you are craving wanton noodles.

The tableware hygiene needs to be improved. The green chilies ran out but were not replenished promptly. Overall, the food was acceptable.

I have visited Pontian Wanton Noodles (AMK Hub) many times. I must say the Wanton Noodle is decent and the soup with wanton is good. It's also one of the more affordable food options in AMK Hub. However, the usual few service crews (both the cook and the cashier) are not very nice most of the time. Not nice in the sense that they have no smiles, no thank you, always pulling long faces and even throwing the buzzer onto the table right in front of me ( anger directed at another customer). If not for the decent food and having empty seats most of the time, I likely would not have visited anymore.

Pontian was our first wanton noodle at SG. We used to stay at Sembawang and used to visit Sun Plaza basement Pontian stall over the weekend as it was cheap and good. (Reminiscing the past) Alright, the location of this stall was very good, just inside AMK Hub at the basement. 5 mins walking distance from AMK mrt. My advice is to look for a place to seat first before ordering as the seats are very limited. Order from the counter and pay, then collect your food after the buzzer buzz off. The staff are quite friendly. Visited a few times and the serving speed is fast. We always order the wanton noodle with spicy sauce. You can choose just black sauce or tomato sauce if you don’t like spicy. The noodle is serve with a bowl of soup and two wanton inside. There are also two fried wanton with the noodle. I love to take the pickle green chilli to go with the fried wanton! You can order ala carte with just noodle or set with drinks. Price clearly went up compared to when we first had it due to inflation of course.
