The staff was not attentive at the AMK outlet. She was checking on her phone. I have to walk up to her before she noticed me. I was at the stall for about 2 mins looking at the price list. Time was around 3.10pm, 13 Jul 22. I ordered a big pork pau, 3 lianrong pau and 1 daosa pau. When I reached home, what I got were 3 daosa pau and 1 lianrong pau. The big pork pau is correct. Though it is alright for me to have more daosa pau, the staff needs to beef up her service.

My recent experience from two purchases over one month has concluded that the quality of Ho Kee Char Siew Bao has deteriorated badly, the meat filling was not fresh and taste like almost turning bad seems as although it has been kept for long time. I have been a fan of their Char Siew Pao for many years but never has it tasted like this before. Will avoid from now on.

Bought two buns (one lotus paste and one red bean). Started eating right after purchasing. By the time I was done with one, the other one was already rock hard (a sign that it had been through many rounds of “steamed, put back in the fridge, then re-steamed again”). Took a bite and realised it had gone rancid. Would never get their buns again.

Ordered Fan Choy ($2.80) and Siew Mai (3x$0.90). The fan choy was dry and grainy, nothing fantastic. Siew mai was okay. Service was good.

The worst service at AMK hub outlet. Requested for 2 cold fan choy so that I will be able to keep it for another day. Gave me the warm ones and still insist that it is cold. Ask her (cashier) to touch it but she refused by just saying it is cold no need to feel it. Keep arguing for no reason. Extremely ridiculous service. I truly hope that the management team will read this as this is not the first time I have this problem.

I am forced to give one star in order to write a review.
I bought a big pork pau (大肉包) and more that sure that it's a chicken meat..anyone have this experience? And it was the worse pau I ever had. If it's a chicken meat don't label it as a bapau ok! 妈的史上最难吃的包

Ordered via Grab. But gave me wrong item - ordered egg tarts got spring rolls. Taste wise overall it's just too sweet. Sigh.

Worst service. Want to order waffle and the staff say is their lunch time and complaint to me they do not cater service during that time. Cannot rate the food because they do not wish to take my order.

The waiter at Ang Mo Kio branch is not professional. After paying, I forgot to take something. She knew it and didn’t ask me to take it, so I will not patronize it again in the future.
