It's a small stall at AMK Hub, takeaways only. Got an OG chicken pie at $6.80. The guy with black glasses told me how to heat up when I asked him. I like there's plenty of chicken, but the chunks are not in bite friendly sizes. I'm also not a big fan of frozen veg trio (peas, carrots, corn). Would have loved celery and a homemade gravy, but that's just me. However plus points for portion size which is generous. And it's not too bad for a savoury pie craving.

The packaging is nice. Very big chicken pie. Saw in some FB clips best in SG. .. is crispy and on the spot baked freshness. The peppery taste was quite strong for the signature pie. Curry chicken pie was nice.

You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy these pies, which are kinda the same!!!! So excited to dig in soon!!!! Ps. How to eat a Chicken Pie 1. Grab it firmly with both hands 2. Take a good long sniff of that awesome baked aroma 3. Take a good chomp out of it! (Just like a burger) 4. Repeat steps 2-3.

Honestly disappointed. I loved this chicken pie (the full big one) back in the day at Kent Ridge. Was pleased to see it at AMK with good memories. I had the small sized one a few weeks ago and it was not bad, but just bought one more recently that was a disappointment. For some reason the filling is really DRY (see pic). Like, there is half an egg, and big chunks of chicken, a little bit of potato and literally one tiny piece of carrot... Big chunks of chicken should sound good but it's so dry and not flavourful! There doesn't seem to be any creaminess or moisture in the filling.. Just chunks of stuff inside if you get my meaning. And not a good proportion of potato and carrot. Edit: I see I need to clarify. I did not mean it needs to be creamy in the sense of having "cream" in it. I just could not find another word to describe the kind of sauce or moisture that the filling should have. I think the person who responded to the review is missing the point here... It was dry and not good. If this is your (new) norm, then count me out from ever purchasing your pies again.

was in a rush and didn’t know and didn’t check that the bee hoon and the soup wasn’t packed separately. i just assumed they were because isn’t that like an unspoken industry practice now? by the time i got home, the $22 lala and prawn bee hoon was so soggy and there was only a very thin layer of soup left. also, it was a pick up order hence i bought based on the photo on the food app, but i paid $6.30 for this kueh lapis. i mean….

Seeing this new stall at AMK Hub B2, I bought a $6.80 chicken pie with excitement to try. To my disappointment, the fillings were huge chicken chucks, half an egg, some potatoes but it was extremely dry, tasteless and not delicious at all. Just as what the other reviews are saying. I guess I won't be buying again, I'm better off with Polar's chicken pies.

Dear Andres (I hope I spell your name correctly) and team, the service is good the cooking is great even for the take away. I ordered the crab bee hoon and whole piece of shepard pie. I forgotten to collect the pie after taking the bee hoon. Mr Andres is kind enough to keep the pie one side for me till I return back to the shop. He even said its his fault for not reminding me. (Its not your fault. 🥲) and I feel bad about it (cause its my careless mistake!) Thank you for the complementary! Your service and cooking is great and will be back again. Dear bosses, this man deserve a raise! (Or if you're the boss, you deserve to have good health and wealth. )😃

Ordered every year for Christmas and always collect from the Trywhitt location. This year, collected from AMK. The apple pie was lovely according to mum (expert chef). The beef pie filling was dry and too too salty, no one could finish their 1/8 portion - what a waste. The chicken pie pastry was not crispy on the inside, the chicken were large uneven chunks, eggs were half instead of whole, peas & carrots were almost none existent (can count one or two in each quarter slice). The potato cubes were a bit mushy. The shepard’s pie was the greatest disappointment - too salty & too much black pepper - had to remove the filling & mixed it into the rice so as not to waste the pies. Thinking if we should order again for 2025 -

Advance order for a big chicken pie was made few days before Christmas. We have indicated collection time as 6pm to 6.30pm. When we arrived at 6.15pm, staff told us that there was a mistake by their head office and they did not receive the chicken pies. Staff asked if we wanted to change to Shepherd pie or 6 small pies of different flavours. Fortunately, the big chicken pies arrived a short while later and we were told to wait for another 25 min as the pies needed to be baked. So we spent another half an hour to wait before they were baked. The pies were nice, but some parts of chicken didn't look properly cooked. Alot of hard boiled eggs were added but they were cut into halves instead of smaller pieces, so sometimes you take a bite of all eggs and crust, instead of having a good mix of chicken, eggs and potatoes.
