Although I'm not usually a fan of muffins, this one pleasantly surprised me. Priced at $2.90, I opted for the Blueberry muffin, which came with a 'Praise' tag indicating it's a recommended choice. The muffin is dense and sweet, but the tartness of the blueberries provides a nice balance.

Happened to passby & decided to order & try it. Really don't like muffin unless it is another brand. So order their tarts instead. Ordered 3 differ types - original, salted egg & choco. Cos the staff advised got discount for a dollar if got 3 pieces. Abit too much, as in overdose of buttery. Not much stronger in taste as particular for each salted egg or choco. More towards butter & butter, abit over for me. Found it very "julak" 😷

Bought a few muffins from this amk stall on 03Aug24(Saturday). Got the blueberry flavour, mix berries and double chocolate. Took one bite of the blueberries muffin, I could literally bite into pieces of the sugar crust as if they had not melted during the bake at all. Took a second bite to confirm, still had my mouth filled with sugar crust. Even my nephew who loves sugar snack found this overwhelming. I had purchased this brand of muffins from waterway point previously, the muffins didn’t have these sugar crust in it. There is an ongoing national day promotion, spend $9 to get $5 voucher. I checked with the lady at the stall if there is any minimum purchase needed for the $5 voucher. She told me no. Hence being a budget hunter, I went ahead to pick a few muffin to made up the $9 so I could get the $5 voucher and then purchase a few other muffins with the voucher. I was upset when she handed me the voucher that looks like this, the $5 voucher turned out to be 3 separate vouchers with minimum purchase for each. When I said to the lady, you told me there is no minimum purchase for the voucher earlier. She simply smiled back to me and ignored me thereafter. I felt kind of being cheated. Either she is deliberately brushing me off on my enquires of the voucher, or she has no knowledge of the ongoing promotion(which I doubt so). Butter & Cream, you quickly expanded your business, but please also educate your staff to treat customers with respect even if you are just a stall selling super sweet muffins containing sugar crust.

Nice display of muffins with interesting flavours. I got 2 muffins to try. The Healthy nut Muffin had bits of candied fruits like orange and raisins as well as pumpkin seeds. Love the fact that this was evenly distributed throughout the muffin, making it quite a morish snack. It was also of a good sweetness level. The Banana Muffin was topped with toasted coconut shreds with a single chunk of banana on top. It felt quite greasy and was very sweet. Both muffins were moist and fluffy. Couldn’t detect any buttery fragrance from the muffins though. Service staff was nice and courteous. And they still had quite a lot of varieties even on late Sunday evening. So good to settle any last minute muffin cravings!

I already patronise their Lau Pa Sat store and like their bakes. My fave is the Hokkaido cream and the Volcano cheese. They have a buy 5 get 1 free promotion. The muffins vary in price so I usually pick all 6 muffins with the same price to make the offer worth it for me. From what I remember the price range from $2.60 - $2.90 per muffin. In general the flavours at Lau Pa Sat are not always available but the AMK store seems to have all the flavours and a new flavour Moonlight chocolate cheese. The store is located in the basement (Same level as NTUC) and it is opposite Tori Q and the money changer. So happy that they opened a store near me! Take note at the Lau Pa Sat store you can use paywave but over here its NETS. The Flashpay wasn't working at all.

Ordered their muffins via grab at 9pm. Delicious! However their cheese cake more like egg cake - no cheese flavour :( blueberry muffin was good

The muffins are the right amount of sweet. They are not overpoweringly sweet in any way. The Hokkaido cream muffin is my favorite. It is something that differentiates this store from other muffin shops. The muffins are definitely an excellent choice for its price point. Will definitely come back to try the other flavours :)

Eggtarts : The filling is creamy and soft. Salted eggtart suprisingly good. Muffins : Wish the filling is more generous. It's not well-distributed when we were sharing the muffin All best eaten when its still warm

Tried the midnight chocolate and cheese muffin which was delectable. The creaminess of the cheese balanced well with the sweetness of the chocolate chips. The muffin was also moist. Only wished the bake came with more of that lovely cheese.
