The Unagi Bento is my usual order, and I always add Tamago Yaki into my meal. Not sure about other places, but the AMK Hub outlet always has seats available whenever I was there. It’s a quiet and peaceful place for lunch because all the other eateries will be packed with people. Although the Unagi bento is a little tad expensive, I still have it most of the time I was there as it’s really good.

Bad experience dining at umisushi AMK. Ordered Oyako Don and Tonkotsu Raman, both food not up to standard. Even market or food center food are better than theirs. Won’t be visiting.

Visited the AMK hub branch on 5th March, 1:27pm bought the maki mix set that costs $8.20. Despite their sushi looking less appealing compared to other takeout sushi competitors around in the mall like Mr Sushi@ NTUC and Kuriya’s, I still decided to give them the benefit of doubt and went ahead with my purchase. Upon consuming, I was appalled by the sourness of the chuka maki. I then sniffed and taste tested the rest of the set and realised they have all gone bad too. Sadly, the only ones that were still edible were the mini cucumber, tamogo + crab stick ones. The sushi rice were tad disappointing too, lacking in the vinegary touch that usual sushi should have. Service wise was fine but food quality could have been better.

It was my first time eating there and I found the kitchen staff quite welcoming. They recommended the Japanese curry omelette during their promotion before and it was not only aesthetically pleasing but also delicious! Cannot wait to try other promotional dishes

The mashed potato and teriyaki chicken set is quite nice! And only 5 dollars!☺️
