2023 1230 comparing I had it at outlet Paya Lebar Square and here, I find Paya Lebar outlet tastes better. I really like the Tamago Mentai. So flavourful. The wasabi served at all the outlet is smooth and not so strong like those added with chemical. Overall I had a nice lunch.

We had an enjoyable dinner here. Be prepared to queue during peak hours as the restaurant is quite small and there’s not many seats. They don’t accept reservations. We went for the Burpple set menu which is a good deal. It came with a rice bowl of our choice, salad miso soup, skewers and green tea. The chirashi rice bowl was filling and there was enough ingredients to go with the rice.

Surprised to see this outlet at Ang Mo Kio Hub. Had tried the food a few weeks ago at another outlet. Service was alright. The food was fresh. Price wise, about the same compared to other outlets. There was complimentary soup and salad. Though the space was limited, some how, the arrangement of the seatings were done quite efficiently. Spacious yet there were many seats.

Newly opened in @amk_hub is another branch of @keikaisendon.sg! It’s my first time having it. And I was pleasantly surprised by it. The fish was so nicely seasoned that I barely touched the soy sauce provided along with it. The seaweed was also nice and crunchy, not lao hong and floppy like some other places. And the rice!! A pet peeve of mine was that chirashi bowls often overlook the rice, often serving cold and lumpy rice. But I’m happy that Kei Kaisendon is not like this. The rice was still warm and separates easily, despite the fact that I was there at 9pm, just before closing time. There is also an ongoing promotion where you get a free salad (or onsen egg) and a soup with every main ordered! Not sure why I didn’t get mine, but I was still full and satisfied! It was a good meal nonetheless!

Very good japanese food at regular mall restaurant prices. Expect to spend $20-30 (year 2022 August) but very tasty high quality dishes. The soup was veey goid too. Highly recommend. Oh... And it's Halal too!
