Was going to not leave this review but this stylist (drakken yap) left my face full of hair at the end of the haircut session, intermittently while cutting hair he kept checking his phone leaving me sitting there and doing nothing, this is a unprofessional attitude from kcuts that I did not experience with other stylist from the company in the past

I brought my daughter for a haircut with Ivy Yong and specifically requested for a 1.5-inch trim and light thinning, as her hair is naturally very voluminous. Unfortunately, the result was far from what we expected.
More than 50% of her hair volume was removed, and the haircut has made her ponytail look extremely thin, as if she experienced severe hair loss. Before the cut, her hair tie wrapped around her ponytail 3 times. After the cut, it goes around 6 times and is still loose. This is not a simple trim and light thinning. It was an excessive cut that has left her very upset.
We are very disappointed with the haircut service provided.

Fanny Khoo was my hairstylist. Her skill is great and more importantly, I only met her twice before, each time separated by 2-3 months, yet she could remember my styling preferences. This shows a lot of dedication to doing her job and attending to customers. I'm very happy and satisfied with her service, and I recommend her, without reservation, as your hairstylist anytime!

Been to kcuts for my regular monthly haircut for many years, simple high slope number 1 cut. No issues. Until Drakken Yap. No idea how anyone can screw up a cut as simple as mine, but he did. Probably rushing to finish his work and go home, because he loudly proclaimed to his coworkers that he no longer takes anymore customers after me. In front of the 2 customers after me. At 8.40pm. Asked me if I'm ok with the cut by showing me the mirror. I said not ok, need to smooth out the slopes and the top, because they looked like a stack of paper chopped with a blunt chopper. He said no. Gave some excuses. Don't want to argue with him. He didn't bother to even brush the hair cleanly off me, had to shake off the hair outside the shop. Went home and had to get my wife to trim the awful job left by him.
Choose other barbers if you have a choice. If not, go to QB cuts.

I always have my haircut done here. However, the stylist who usually does my haircut is often not around. After my haircut, I always wipe my face with a tissue and throw it to the side. But this stylist in particular doesn’t let me put the tissue in the dustbin, as she says it’s not a rubbish bin! Come on, I come here every month—why won’t you let me throw the tissue full of hair from my face in your dustbin?

Update 8/8/25: 9 months later and i am still satisfied with every visit, especially with my last cut by the male stylist (Mr Low, if i remember correctly) today, excellent and friendly service. Highly recommend to get your haircut here.
