I would like to commend one of your security officer (Theva) for his exceptional kindness and attentiveness. I noticed him assist an elderly woman by checking her queue number and alerting her when it was called. Such thoughtfulness reflects highly on your team and creates a welcoming environment

Utterly disappointing experience… Took my queue number 4001 at 11:35am for RMB services, waited till 12:35pm and my number was still not called, while people who took their queue number behind me had already left. Approached one of the roaming staff outside and he say that there are still 8 customers ahead of me and everyone came before me. Took a new queue number for personal banking 2027. And the last number called was 2026, and within 5 minutes, 2027 was called. So the queue number i took 1 hour later got called first…

I had to wait for about an hour due to the long queue, but once I reached the counter, the service was swift and efficient. Staff Bong Jin haw handled everything professionally and quickly, which made up for the wait. Overall, a good experience with the counter service!

I visited the Bank of China at the Ang Mo Kio Hub mall Branch outlet. The service is terrible and the waiting is from 11 am till 4 pm. The counter service is rude and takes its own sweet time and talks to the manager so slowly. For just transfer fixed deposits to a few more months or years which takes so long. The counter is so little open it makes the whole outlet jam with people. The reason the in charge manager at ang mo kio informs this is usually long queue. If we do not want to wait then come another day. The counter service due to long hour working that is why they told us frustrating and take own sweet time. I hope we are valuable customers to your bank. Compared to Toa Payoh branch manager and counter service are more flexible and professional and in terms of paper processing is faster.

Very inefficient queue system. As had been pointed out in these reviews, the queue moved very slowly. A 3-hour wait is quite the norm. If they adopted other banks' practice of either getting a queue number via phone or sending you an sms when your turn is near, it would save a lot of customers a lot of precious time instead of wasting time sitting in the bank, that is if you're lucky enough to get a seat cos the bank is always crowded with mostly elderly folks.

The staff was so rude as she just walked away while I was still explaining. She has such poor customer service skills. BOC needs to take pride and train their staff to be conversant and be customer friendly... This will be my last visit!!

went 10.15am bef bank open , and already long queue outside . Am consider lucky, called by my turn & serve by Ms.Pang, she is great & explained well. Our complicated case need lots of doc & many approval. Ms Pang advise us to go for lunch st .at last all done after lunch bef 1pm.All ppl hv to go much earlier & dont expect fast speed coz all teller done pretty well is e approval takes time & shortage of staff too.

The Kiosk is always broken, the Q machine is always unplugged, the staff is always unhappy, the counter is always off-service even tens of customers are waiting, you must bring cash notes if you want to open an account, everything here is in a chaos and mystery. The best part of BOC is the Indian security.

I think BOC has a long way to go in terms of service standard. When there is a long queue, the bank should allocate more manpower to shorten the queue. The branch staff are generally polite and hardworking. But their efficiency is low. I instructed fixed deposit to be transferred internally to another account and rolled on a different tenor. But it was still being rolled in the old account. Also I opened a new account but it was not automatically uploaded to the online banking. So I guess I have to inform them to add the new account into my online banking platform.

Yes the waiting time is long but thank you to the staff who told me earlier when I took the queue number. We were served by Mr Bong Jie (I am so sorry if I remembered wrongly) His explanation was clear, and he is very patient in assisting us to open an account. Well done!
