Butter Cake looked good on the outside but was dry and crumbles when cut. The initial smell of essense was also a little overpowering. Bought on the 11th, expires on 15th.

Bad experience with Polar puff & cakes as my daughters birthday party at school was cancelled due to late delivery of cake and sugar rolls from polar. I was so devastated that day to see that my daughter was not able to celebrate with her friends at school due to late delivery of the pastries we ordered online from POLAR.. very bad service from them. I requested via email to deliver the items before 3pm because the kids will only have 30 minutes break time to celebrate. But the delivery arrived only after 3:30pm when the party time is over. Worst thing is that they don't even provide any contact details of the delivery rider or anyone to be contacted about the order...VERY POOR service. I spent almost 100sgd for that but all gone to waste because no one can eat already since the party time was over.we just blowed the cake by ourselves and daughter. WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN FROM HERE.. OR IF NEED TO ORDER, I WILL PUT IT IN MORNING TIME DELIVERY TO MAKE SURE.. BUT VERY BAD EXPERIENCE NOW WITH THEM...

Bought the pandan butter cream swiss roll for my family. Lacks the fragrance of pandan, average tasting. Not overly sweet and quite soft. Expiry date is the following day.

I don’t why the sale aunty is so angry. There is no reason , she raised her voice and scolded. I gave my bank card for payment. She said why you give me. I said payment why you didn’t say anything then I paid her cash. She again said waiting for what? I didn’t come and ask food. I didn’t expect the best service from her.at least no need to raise her voice. Understand that customer is not be always right. This is not bad feedback about her. May be can improve something for the shop.

2.5* We had craving for ondeh ondeh cake recently. Bought Polar's version. Taste is ok, but below expectation. Main dismay is pandan essence too much, overwhelming. Aftertaste leaves a bitter note.

In front of the customer's face, which includes me, the senior elderly staff tells the younger staff in Mandarin, "do it SLOWLY ah, no need to rush to do quickly (despite customers all waiting in front of you). take your OWN time doing". I'm totally astonished. What a slow service OPENLY endorsed by their senior service!
Terrible!! Just torturing us as if we were beggers queueing for alms?!
