Big hypermarket that stocks all sorts of food and household groceries, electrical appliances, clothings, car accessories, plants and so on. The major downside is that it is usually extremely crowded here and it is usually not a pleasant experience shopping here.

Dear NTUC Fairprice Xtra Ang Mo Kio Hub Management, This is intended as feedback and not a complaint, as I believe it can help improve customer experience. I recently visited the fresh fish department and observed a signboard displaying "any 3 at $9.90" with four different fish species available for selection. I interpreted this to mean I could choose any combination of three fish from the displayed options, regardless of species. However, when I attempted to purchase three of the same species, the staff member at the stall informed me that this was not permitted. He directed my attention to a photo on the signboard showing four distinct fish species, stating that this image clarified the intended meaning of the promotion. While I understand the staff member's explanation, I found the wording of the signboard to be misleading. "Any 3 at $9.90" strongly suggests a free choice of any three items. The accompanying photo, while showing four species, does not explicitly negate the "any 3" wording. To avoid confusion for future customers, I would suggest either: * Rewording the signboard to clearly state "3 different species at $9.90," or something similar. * Removing the "any 3" wording and replacing it with wording that properly reflects the promotion. * If the any 3 wording is to remain, ensure staff are informed that any 3 fish are allowed. No common sense policy! .. I asked and Customer Service Counter told me to pay for this bulky table fan at the Cashier Counter. Upon payment - the Cashier told me to go to Customer Service Counter to have the paid item tied up for ease of carrying it. So, Wasting buyer's time to queue TWICE ! Why can't Cashier Counter accept payment and tie the bulky item at the same time or vice versa ? Don't understand Why there is a need for 2 separate Counters to complete a simple sales transaction and causing inconvenience to buyers (especially if buyers are elderly or mobility challenged). Need to streamline check-out payment process for electronic appliances transactions.

Horrible after sales service from NTUC AMK electrical section. My mother bought a Whirlpool washing machine from them on 4 Aug 25 and the delivery team botched up the installation, resulting in back flow of water from the drain pipe during the wash cycle. My mother reported the matter to the electrical section on 5 Aug 25. A senior staff who attended to my mother’s complaint said that a technician would be sent to assist her between 6-7pm on 5 Aug 25. That technician did not arrive as promised. I am not sure if the senior staff had actually called Whirlpool or if she was just going through the motion, hoping my mum and the problem would just go away. This issue is still outstanding.

The night shift store manager (Emily) was very helpful and quick to resolve the issue I was facing. She's very calm and kind hearted. Thanks for helping me to refund the Milo products to RTE drinks so that I could redeem my free adidas limited edition T Shirt! (:

Great staffers. Friendly and helpful. The teams at customer services n self checkout are a wonderful bunch - fast pace but kept their composure. Good selection of items. But I don’t understand why ask the uncle n aunty staffers to hold a mike to push sales at the entrance. Suggest a weekly rock bottom kick ass priced item offered at non peak hour n let them lelong. Or an aisle that offer for clearance items. Btw really disappointed with the new product house brand nuts - package shows what looks like roasted cashew with dollop of mustard/joney but when I opened the package of honey mustard cashews - it’s coated. Not very healthy and the coating tasted weird. Cost $3.90. That’s false advertisement! #fairprice #ntuc #honeymustardcashews #nuts
