Community Mural 'Our AMK, Our Story' Unveiled at AMK Hub
AMK Hub has unveiled a new community mural titled "Our AMK, Our Story," created by residents and local organisations. The mural, painted by community members and brought to life with creative partner Chiki Can Paint, celebrates the spirit of togetherness that emerged during National Day week.
The project involved collaboration with Teck Ghee Preschool Network, AWWA, Thye Hua Kwan, and Juniper Psychology & Behavioural Health. The wall display features numerous colourful community artwork cards and posters, reflecting the diverse stories and creativity of Ang Mo Kio residents.
The mural is now on permanent display at AMK Hub, serving as a lasting tribute to the community's collective effort. It stands as a piece of creation that belongs to everyone who contributed, embodying the message "Created by our AMK Kakis."
