AMK Hub Goes Retro: 80s-Themed Food Trail at Ang Mo Kio

AMK Hub is turning back the clock with a retro 80s-themed food trail, inviting shoppers to rediscover classic snacks and treats across the mall. The campaign, tagged “Shop Dine Be Together” and “A Brighter Tomorrow Together,” spotlights nostalgic favourites from several tenants, with a special FairPrice Xtra promotion running on 18 May.

Old Chang Kee

Old Chang Kee (老曾记) joins the retro line-up with its signature fried pastries, a staple of Singaporean snacking since the 1980s. Shoppers can grab a curry puff or other golden treats from the stall, conveniently located near the food court and cinema signage.

KOPI & TARTS

KOPI & TARTS brings back the era of kopitiam culture with its egg tarts and pastries, paired with the slogan “Good Coffee, Brighter Days.” The brand’s circular logo and paper bag evoke a classic coffee-shop vibe, perfect for the 80s theme.

Koo Kee

Koo Kee, established since 1954, serves up its beloved fried snacks under the banner “Good Food Brighter Days.” The brand’s presence in the trail highlights its long heritage, with menu boards offering a variety of items for shoppers to enjoy.

FairPrice Xtra Matcha Latte Exchange

FairPrice Xtra at AMK Hub is running a special promotion on 18 May: bring any empty matcha pack (any brand) to exchange for a FREE FairPrice Matcha Latte pack. The store also offers FairPrice Potato Chips Original (150g) at $4.60, with discounts from 30% on selected best sellers. Shoppers can also join the “Win Daily and Win Vouchers” draw, with chances to win up to $10 FairPrice vouchers.
